To abolish the difference made by society between Boys and Girls Breakthrough organized an open mic named-“Khul k bol” at Shishu Mandir Inter College on 27th August. Breakthrough is an organization which take stand on Human Rights and Rights of the female.
Here at the school, the event was conducted by Nadeem who is associated with Breakthrough since long.
Activist of Breakthrough Hina said that there are a lot of girls who are deprived of equality. They are not even allowed to talk about their rights. This inequality later leads to violence. People takes it as their privilege to underestimate girls and this happen since a girl child takes birth in the family.
Principal of Shishu Mandir Inter College Ajeet Singh said that the Violence which is emerged out of inequality is both mentally and physically. We sometimes take this Violence as a normal incidence and don’t even bother to think its adverse effects. Its high time we take measures to abolish this inequality.
Students including Babita, Mahzabi, Vardaan and many more shared their stories at this platform. Parents, teachers and students took part in this open mic and took a pledge to make move for the improvement in the society.
