India’s growing theatre and cultural festival we take immense interest in. Started a decade ago, no body ever gave a thought that this initiative will once bring the brighter side. A stage for strugglers, a hall for theatre audience and a smell of elite art in the city of Nawab. It has now become an indispensable part of Lucknow’s culture.
The cute and vibrant décor Repertwahr is wrapped every year gives us an artistic feel within. Blanketing at Sangeet Natak Academy, this year also Repertwahr preparations are all set.

Journey till now!
This is the season 10. A decade journey has been difficult yet interesting. Founder of Repertwahr, Mr. Bhoopesh Rai says, it was just the love towards theatre and believe in my city Lucknow, made me lay the foundation of Reperwahr. Can never forget the Inspiration of Habib Tanvir and Ashwath Bhatt sir. Initially it was a passion, slowly it jumped to the deep-dyed culture of Lucknow.
How Lucknowites are deprived from the rich art which stays in the city itself? This question was enough for many sleepless nights I went through. Well, someone has to take a move, and this time it was me. I tried to fill the gap between theatre, artists and Lucknow audience who desperately want to see the exact image of the stage and performances. Touchwood, there was appreciation all around.
Artists like Saurabh Shukla, Lillete Dubey, Lubna Salim, Soni Razdan, Manav Kaul, Salif Arif and so many renowned icons have already graced the stages here with their hard-hitting performances.
Sooner, musical was an add on here. It started supporting independent music and musicians. In 2015 music performances happened here and since then musicians are actively participating. Bands and musicians like Mame Khan, Indian Ocean, Parvaaz have performed here.
