Tejas Express will have just two stops. Yes, you heard that right. Earlier it 1. was just one stop at Kanpur, but later it was decided to make Ghaziabad as a stoppage as well. This is why the duration of the Journey will be smooth and Hussle free. It will lead to a quick journey.
It will just take 6 hours to reach to your destination. Where Shatabdi train takes 8 hours to complete the journey, this train will have a shorter duration.
This train is a Chair car with facilities like fully AC, LCD screen, free wi-fi, bio toilets, etc. Now that is a modern luxury train we are talking about.
The train number 12585 from Lucknow and will change its number to 12586. From Lucknow it would leave at 6.10am and will reach Kanpur at 7.20 am. Stoppage in Kanpur is of 10 minutes and then it will make a move. Time to reach Ghaziabad is 11.43 am. After two minutes train will move from Ghaziabad to New Delhi Railway Station and will reach the destination at 12.25 pm. Tejas Express will run 5 days a week.
From running New Delhi to Lucknow the train number will be 12586 and will leave from New Delhi at 3.35 pm and will reach Lucknow at 10.05 pm.
Tejas Express may run by private operators. If this happen it will become first such train. Tejas may start running from September.
